Amizmiz Trail 2027

Just an hour from Marrakech, the small town of Amizmiz, nestled at the foot of the High Atlas Mountains in the Al Haouz province, is preparing to host another edition of its now-essential Amizmiz Trail. For two days, April 24th and 25th, 2027, Moroccan and international runners will gather to tackle trails that wind between centuries-old olive groves, rocky hills, and verdant valleys, with the first foothills of the Atlas Mountains as a backdrop.

This trail race attracts a diverse audience each year: experienced trail runners seeking elevation gain and technical terrain, as well as families and casual runners looking to discover the region in a different way, at their own pace. The race village, located in the Amizmiz Olive Grove, offers a friendly and authentic setting, a true meeting point for athletes, locals, and visitors. Beyond the sporting performance, the event showcases the natural and cultural heritage of the Al Haouz region, still relatively unknown to the general public, and actively contributes to the development of sustainable sports tourism in the Marrakech area.
